For Mercedes-Benz S Class W221 Wireless CarPlay Original Screen Retrofit Upgraded Interface
CarPlay decoder is a component that is used in car audio systems to decode CarPlay, an Apple technology that allows iPhone users to access certain iPhone features using their car’s infotainment system. The decoder is responsible for receiving the digital audio and video signals from the iPhone and converting them into an analog format that can be played on the car's audio system. Essentially, the decoder acts as a bridge between the iPhone and the car's audio system, allowing the two devices to communicate and work together seamlessly. Without the CarPlay decoder, it would not be possible to use CarPlay on a car's infotainment system.
